MLS Job Opportunity: Resource Sharing and BiblioTemps Assistant

The Massachusetts Library System (MLS), a state-funded not-for-profit, is seeking an enthusiastic detail oriented person to serve as Resource Sharing and BiblioTemps Assistant. The successful candidate will begin work in August 2014. (Please note: This is a permanent full-time employment opportunity based in the MLS office in Marlborough. It is not a BiblioTemps placement.  Interested candidates should apply via the instructions below, not through the BiblioTemps jobs page.)

This is a shared position between Resource Sharing and BiblioTemps at the Massachusetts Library System. The incumbent will assist with data entry, reports, routine communications and marketing for both areas. This position is a critical link between candidates and temporary employees of MLS’s BiblioTemps service. MLS seeks detailed-oriented, independent candidates with sharp communications and computer skills as well as experience updating web content and social media.

For additional information, including a complete list of responsibilities and qualifications, as well as how to apply, please review the complete job posting.

Applications are due by Monday, July 7, 2014.
